The machine tool light means the light that is used in different machine tools. Usually, it is the machine work light (including long arm spotlight, short arm spotlight, gooseneck light, and tubular machine light) and machine warning light( also called signal tower light and stack light).
On the degree of automation, it can be divided into traditional machine tools and CNC machine tools. According to the different machines, the light will be different.
Traditional machine tools, such as traditional lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, sawing machines, etc. It needs a man to work on the side, it will request to adjust the light as needed. So, it is better to use light that can adjust the angle freely, like some long arm spotlight, short arm spotlight, and gooseneck light.
Long Arm Spotlight, will be normally used in some big lathes. Because this light has two arms, both these two arms can adjust the angle. It can shine farther and more corners.
Short Arm Spotlight, before is only the base and head, so normally, it will be used in some small lathes.
Gooseneck Light, it’s a small power light, only 5W, so it will be used in some places that request shine only on small corners.
The CNC machine tool is an automation-producing process. It doesn’t need a man to work on the side, but it needs to let the worker know if it is working as normal. So, there are two lights, one is tubular work light, which is fixed inside of the machine, and the other one is a stack light, fixed on the top of the machine.
Tubular Machine Tool Light is installed inside the machine. When the machine tool is working, the metal chips will fly anywhere, and the lights will be hit constantly. So, it will request the surface of the light is strong enough to resist the hitting. In addition, for different reasons, the machine tool must use the cutting oil. That will request the machine tool light must be waterproof. According to those reasons, normally, the machine tool light is made of aluminum alloy and tempering glass. IP rating must over IP65.
